We initially decided to purchase a full-service wedding planning package because we live out of state and were looking for guidance planning our wedding at The Maples. From our first conversation, Shari was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also enthusiastic about bringing our unique vision to life. 
We had regular Zoom meetings throughout the months leading up to our wedding. Shari was always incredibly prepared and patient with us when we changed our minds on details. (We left every single call feeling more excited and somehow not stressed at all!) One thing we loved was that whenever we brought Shari ideas or inspo photos, she was able to translate those into tangible ideas/vendors and gather all of the pricing and logistical info for us to make a final decision. She made the daunting work of planning a big event feel EASY.
Our wedding came together beautifully and was truly the best day of our lives. Because we had so much trust and respect for Shari, we didn’t worry about a single detail other than being in the moment and enjoying the day. In fact—we only found out later that our bakery forgot(!) to deliver our wedding cake. She handled that situation behind the scenes like an absolute pro and before we knew anything was amiss, the cake was in place.

"Shari and her team at Events by Wise did such an amazing job for our May 2024 wedding at Hidden Grove (we hired her for her Wedding Management Package and used her waitstaff team as well)! From our first communication with Shari, she was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, easily accessible, and truly went above and beyond. When we faced a crisis with one of our vendors (to no fault of Shari at all), she stepped in to help us navigate the next steps, providing excellent recommendations for new vendors. She also offered recommendations for any other vendors we still needed to book, always responding promptly and in an organized manner. Shari also has an inventory of  dessert platters,stands,riser, etc.) that you are free to use, which was very helpful to us. She also gives you access to a wedding planning tool, Aisle Planner, which was extremely useful in the planning process. It kept our vendors, budget, guest list, seating chart, and more organized, making the planning process much smoother. Shari was proactive in finding ways to save us money, offering discounts with Minted and the rental company, and even adjusting delivery and pickup days to save us a few hundred dollars. Her assistant, Brittney, was amazing as well and we loved working with her! She was very attentive to our needs and overall a joy to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend Shari and her team to anyone! We fully trusted her to execute our vision and make any game-day decisions necessary. Several of our guests commented that this was the most well-planned and organized wedding they had ever attended. We used Events by Wise for month of planning! Shari was easy to reach, handled all the small details we never would have thought of, and her team did an excellent job on wedding day.  We were easy going brides, and did not like the very "wedding" vibe of the other planners that we considered. Shari fit in well with our low key style and helped support our vision without putting on any pressure to do or be more. She and her staff were also great about being inclusive of us as a queer couple. Definitely recommend working with Events by Wise!!

One of the best things we did for our wedding day was hire Shari from Events by Wise. Events by Wise had a variety of services to offer. I’m a pretty organized person so all I needed was someone I could trust to handle our big wedding guest list of 300. We hired Shari for Wedding Management. I initially booked Shari a few months before my late summer wedding. We meet with her numerous times before the wedding and were able to bounce ideas off each other. She understood perfectly what we needed from her and made everything happen. Four days before my wedding, tragedy struck my family and we lost my grandfather unexpectedly. It was a huge loss to my family and the wedding was immediately postponed. Because of this, Shari took on contacting all our vendors to postpone their services for us so we didn’t have to. This was a huge relief so I could focus on my family’s needs. When the grieving passed we contacted Shari about rescheduling her for an April Wedding. We were happy and grateful to hear that she was available for our new day. Our April wedding came and Shari, with her staff, did a phenomenal job! They were friendly, thoughtful, professional, and capable. She made our wedding day feel like the breeziest day of our lives. We might have been the biggest wedding she had coordinated at that time but it didn’t show, so for that, 5+ stars for the incredible attention to detail, ease and timeliness of communication, and genuine commitment to ensuring everything was taken care of behind the scenes. One of the advantages to booking her is that Shari has props and materials that she made available to us.  We can't emphasize enough how impressed we were with Shari, and how grateful we were to have found her. We would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone.

My husband and I highly recommend using Shari. We utilized her for full service wedding planning. From the start she was thorough, professional, experienced, and very affordable. We received quotes from other wedding planners in the area that offered pretty much the same services and Events by Wise was much more reasonable. Shari has connections with local vendors including caterers, event rental companies, DJs, photographers, and wedding cake designers whom she has built a report. Shari also has a plethora of wedding décor that she offers to her customers to use at their wedding! Again, my husband and I highly recommend using Events by Wise if you're looking for wedding planning services!!

Shari Wise was our month of planner for my daughter's wedding on May 28, 2011. This was planned as an outdoor event. "Events by Wise" coordinated the rehearsal and wedding ceremony, and helped in decorating for the reception. For the buffet dinner, they provided staff to bus the tables since we didn't have a full service caterer. They also provided parking attendants, child care for the kid's activity table, and road signs. The outdoor reception turned indoors when an unexpected storm came through 3 1/2 hours prior to the wedding ceremony. Shari took charge and had her crew and a group of family and friends move the entire reception indoors. This included over 30 tables, linens, glassware, vases, candles, etc., into the groom's parents car showroom. This meant the showroom has to be quickly emptied of up to 18 vehicles. "Events by Wise" did a wonderful job. Shari went beyond  what she was being paid for. I highly recommend them for any event you are planning. They were organized, efficient and courteous. They will do an excellent job for you
