Monochromatic....What is a monochromatic? The dictionary lists it as containing or using one color. As it relates to weddings it can mean a couple different things. The first we will discuss is picking a color and using various shades of that color! Here you can see that pink is the color of choice! It gives a cohesive look, but is also vibrant and creates dimension by varing the shade! Love the monochromatic vibe, but wanting a little more WOW! Why not try using various shades of pink along with adding patterns & POPS of brighter PINK in special places! The patterned linen provides a little more softness! But the bold bright pop of PINK in the floral helps draw your attention! This angle really helps reveal the full impact! Another way to have a monochromatic palette is considered very elegant and sophisticated....white & black! This is a classic, timeless feel for weddings! Classic and timeless! Also easier to create than you would think! Bring a little of FUN! Easy ACCENTS that add so much WOW!! No matter what color palette you select...make it impactful!
2025 Pantone Wedding Color....Every year Pantone Color for Weddings is selected! In 2025 it is Verona Sunset, but it can also be called Terracotta! It is a warm color that can be used with softer or brighter pastels in the Spring & Summer! But, it can also be used with dark or moodier colors for Fall! You can choose all the same shade or you can mix it up and choose different colored dresses! You can add tan shades for a more lighter feel or add blue hues for a more darker moodier feel! Think of ways to customize it! Add blush or peach hues for a softer more relaxed boho vibe. You can pair this palette with sophisticated neutrals such as mocha linens, beige napkins along with soft metallics like rose gold or copper for a touch of luxury. It is an ideal choice for couples looking for a timeless esthetic. Another option is more jeweled toned accents. Vibrant + opulent with ruby red, sapphire and deep amethyst hues! Balance the boldness with neutral backdrops of white, beige or black. Adding lounge areas are always a great option to bring your design features to life! It gives you lots of opportunity for colors & textures! One of our favorite vendors Blossom Farm Rentals https://www.blossomfarmrentals.com/ has some of the most beautiful selections! These will be enjoyed by guests with luxurious feel of velvet pillows & soft couches! The neutral colors of black & grey play well with these bold accents. The emerald green the photo above definitely adds a dramatic effect! While the softer beige colors below help highlight more of that amazing burnt orange!
Textures & Patterns....Another great way to elevate your wedding or any event is to add Textures & Patterns to your design! One way to do that is with your linens. You need linens on your tables & napkins for your guests! Why not use these items to add a WOW factor! Dinner tables DO NOT all have to be same color or pattern! Why not combine solids & patterns! Different types of tables & linens...wood tables add texture! Why NOT add texture? How do you add texture? This can easily be done by adding linens with textures such as printed linens with a raised aspect for instance a swirl pattern that they guests can feel with their hand! Or velvet napkins! White linen with a raise texture enhances the linen look & feel! The texture on the plates along with the patterned linen create ALOT of WOW! Using a patterned linen, solid napkin & colored candles
to create a cohesive design! Today we are focusing on Color....This photo is from a styled photoshoot that I designed, styled and produced in spring of 2024! Yes, that is right in 2024 I wanted to see more color used at weddings. I produced this shoot hoping it would show couples how bringing in color can make their weddings beautiful! Linens, candles and amazing lounge areas are great ways it incorporate color along with your florals. As you look through these photo notice we use color in every aspect of design! Yes, we have beautiful florals (which I thoroughly love), but if your budget doesn't allow for extravagant florals find other ways to incorporate color! The florals here are beautiful but they weren't over the top! However, when you look at the all of the design aspects you see color - linens, candles, balloons, paperie and signage! Creative Credits for all of the above photos! Our first wedding had an exquisite black backdrop with beautiful color (see photo below)! And I have multiple other weddings this year and the brides are embracing COLOR!
